My big boy went for his 4 month apt. yesterday, He weighed in at 18.5 pounds, which is the 99%. He is one tall boy at 27.5 inches which puts him over the 100% mark. Everything else is great, we are sopposed to start feeding him real food now 2 times a day, sopposdly it will have less calories then my gravy boob.

Blog Slacker!!
I think I may just be the biggest blog slacker there is. How long has it been 3 weeks? Things here have been going well. Addison is playing playing playing and asking9257875785636 questions about everything. I have to keep reminding myself that she is just 2 and answer them all to the best of my ability without getting up set with her. Zion is still a giant. We will see just how much of a giant he really is on Monday when we go in for his 4 month apt.
Last week we tried to get a good picture for Christmas Cards. Yeah we are still working on that. Zion did get some super cute pictures for his 4 month pictures...

Monday Monday
We have had a pretty good week at the Conder house. both kids are still alive! Addison has been very trying on me recently. One minute she is as sweet as can be and the next she is just rotten. As I have said many many times before, " this too shall pass". Zion started cereal this week. He has been watching every bite that goes into our mouths so why not try with him, So far so good.
Friday night my mom volunteered to watch the kids for us while we went to dinner. We ended up going to the "Dutch Cafe" oh my gosh, it is fantastic. If you are ever near Peru by the base you must go there! It is the best Amish cooking!Saturday we were able to meet up with my good Friend Melissa and her little boy Corey while they were in town from Chicago. It was great catching up with her and watching the kids play.
Nothing else new..

Halloween and such
My computer is junk! So I am on Adams, Hopefully I can get some pictures to load.
We had a great time on Halloween, Addison was a Butterfly and loved going door to door to get candy. The first few houses she was a little shy but by the end of the route she was a pro. Zion on the other hand slept through most of it except for the GIANT spit up at the Spesards.
Zion is still growing like a weed! I think he is going to be 6 foot tall by the time he starts kindergarten. I got on the scale with him yesterday and he was 18 lbs. I think we may start cereal a little early with him, maybe it has less calories.
Addison is still her imaginative little self. It never surprises me as to what will come out of her mouth next. The other day she came up to me and said "Mom lets go to the rain forest, Maybe the Amazon" Sounds good to me.
As far as sewing and crafts go I've been kind of slow but would love to pick up some sales to help with Christmas, So if you know of anyone that would like a baby carrier please let me know, I would be happy to work you a deal. This is my most recent one, I wish I could have kept it for myself..

One week down
One week down and two pounds lost. Im pretty proud of myself. I ran a mile and a half on Monday, I actually ran the entire time, Walked 2.5 miles on Tuesday, 30 minutes on the Eliptical on Wednesday and Friday. Not only does it feel good to work out but it also gives me a chance to get out of the house kid free. I just wish I had more then a half hour to do it, I go over Adams lunch hour. Oh well I will take what I get.
Addison is also doing pretty well potty training, she has actually started to tell us when she has to go when we are in public, so that makes it nice. There is nothing like spinting through the store in search of a potty.
My computer is about ready to die! It has some virus on it that isnt allowing me to upload my pictures. So once I burn all of my pictures an music to a disk I think I will insert the reboot disk and have a new computer. Unless someone has a better solution to my problem....

Today is the day!
Thats right I have gone on long enough trying to lose this baby weight by not doing anything about it, so today is D- Day. Here in about a half hour Im going to double bag the girls and go for my first run in lord knows how long. That also means that Im cutting out the candy bars that I have been secretly sneeking and cutting back to one coke a day. I've lost 31 lbs since Zion was born but I still have 10 to get to my pre pregancy weight and 5 more after that to get to my weight that I was before I miss carried the twins. The problem is I have no motivation to go out and run which is so unlike me. Before Kids all I would do is run. So hopefully this will jump start my love for running agian. Adam has agreed to come home for lunch at the same time everyday so I can have my me time to do this. Wish me luck!

Fall
What beautiful weather we had this weekend! Im so happy that we were able to get out and enjoy it some. We went to the pumpkin patch and then rosted Marshmellows on Saturday it was so much fun. I am loving this age with Addison she gets so excited about everything and everyone is her new friend. Zion could have cared less about the pumkin patch but it did make for some cute pictues.

I have a GIANT!
Yes its true he is a giant! Zion went to the doctor yesterday for his 2 month check up. He is off the charts in height and weight.
Height 24 3/4 inches he was only 21 at birth.
Weight 13pounds 9 oz he was 7pounds 6 oz at birth
So at least he is proportionate. Addison was always on the other end of the spectrum so this is something new for us. She better watch out or baby brother will be catching up with her soon.
other then that there hasn't been too much else going on at the Conder's household. We have just been enjoying the beautiful weather going to the football games and cross country meets it is so nice to be able to enjoy these things again.
For some reason I cant post pictures now so I will get them up soon.

busy at the conders
Wow I have become a slacker on here. Sorry! This week we have been potty training hard core! Monday was a full blown potty party, it went much better then both Adam and I thought it would we got away with only 2 accidents all day. Here it is Friday and we are still going strong. She is starting to go even before the timer goes off. So hopefully next week we will have this potty thing down.
Zion is now over a month old. He is quite a cute and has changed quite a bit. According to our scale he is now 12 lbs. I think he is just bulking up for football season. He trys to be so big and holds his head up already. Wow time is just flying by with my two big kids.

almost 2 weeks
My little man is almost 2 weeks old already. He is such a sweet little guy who loves to cuddle includeing all night. Last night he was up from 1:45-5:15 which makes for one tired mama. Addison is still in love with him, but has had her times of jealousy so we have been working on that. She also does not think that she needs to sleep anymore. She has been refusing naps and fights to go to bed at night. We try to have her in bed by 7:30 or 8:00 she usually gives up her fight at about 11. This is not helping with me being so tired either. Oh well this too shall pass.

Zions Birth Story
We went in Saturday night to begin the induction.
After getting hooked up to the monitors and being checked, I was a 2, I was given cytotec at 7:30pm and was told that it might start labor and that they would be in in a few hours to insert the IV port and unhook me so I could walk around foe a while. At 10:00 the nurse came in and tried putting the IV in. She blew the vain in my left hand but was able to get it on the first try in left. She then told us that the Dr. will be in between 5am-6:30am, which got me pretty excited. At 10:30 they came in and unhooked me for what Adam called my “yard time” like I was in Prison, I had to be back in bed by 11. During that time we walked the halls multiple multiple times I was ready to run or skip or something. At 12:30 I was checked again and was now a 4. I thought this stuff was really working. I was offered a sleeping pill at this time, which I denied because I thought that the dr would be in by 6 and I would just be groggy due to not getting a full 8 hours of sleep.
I ended up being up most of the night. Every time I would finally fall asleep I would a either have to go to the bath room or b. the nurse would come in to roll me to one side or the other because his heart rate would drop way low, under100. I was checked at 4:00 and I was still only a 4. After calling the nurse at least once an hour to go to the bathroom at 4:30 I told myself the dr would be there in about an hour so try to get some sleep. I was able to sleep until 8:00 when the nurse came in and said the dr. had called and said to start the potocin and she would be there soon to break my water.
I was checked right after the potocin and was still only a 4. I guess the cytotec didn’t do too much. I hadn’t felt any contractions yet. By 9:00 I started feeling them but they weren’t too bad. Just like I feel one starting, ok its done I was able to talk through them. I had told my nurse I didn’t want the epidural until I was dilated a 6, she said we would try. By 10:30 I was feeling the contraction pretty good the nurse came in and asked if I wanted the epi now because the anesthesiologist was going home for a bit. I said sure I will take it. By the time he came in the contractions where going hot and heavy, I was shaking uncontrollably which I did not like. As he came in h made my husband leave and told him to get a cup of coffee and come back in 10 minutes, I about freaked, but we both managed to get through it. After the epi was in at 11:15, I stopped shaking and was able to relax, I was checked at this time and was an 8. At 1:00 the nurse came in and checked me I was still an 8, she said the dr. was finally on her way in to break my water. She came in at 1:15 broke my water and said the baby will be here in 1.5 hours to 2 hours. I said he will be here sooner she just smiled. The nurse then came back in at 1:35 to check me and see how I was, at this point she pulled back and said “ don’t laugh, sneeze or cough the dr will be right in.” The dr. and two nurses came in the room at 1:47 as she was putting her gloves on she said lets have a practice push. So I reared back to push, and out he came. She put her gloved hand down to get the head while pulling on her other glove with her mouth. I was then told not to push because the cord was wrapped fairly tightly around is neck. She cut the cord and told me to push again and the next thing I knew I was holding Zion Wesley at 1:53 PM weighing 7lbs 6 oz and 21 inches. I was able to hold him for quite some time before they took him across the room to clean him up and check everything out. He was able to stay in the room with us for about 2 hours before they took him to the nursery. At this time I was able to get up and take a shower. It was a great birth I hope that the next one goes as quickly and smoothly.

Addison has been such a great big sister. She Loves Zion so much and trys her best to be gentel and a great helper. Its hard being 2.
Hospital Picture. The nurse dressed him and Buttoned his shirt all the way up. Looks a little uncomfey to me.

Tomorrow night she will be staying at my parents house while we are being induced so the next time I see her I will be a mama of 2. Why does that make me so sad? Ill add more later if I can. Im sitting her bawling for some reason...

Single Digits
I cant believe that I only have 9 days until this little guy is due to make his appearance. I think that I am ready! Then again I worried about going from having one baby to having 2 its kind of a scary thought considering how much of a mamas girl Addison is. I think she is going to have a hard time adjusting to me having to hold the baby and nursing and she not being able to sit on my lap all the time. Im sure it will be rough on all of us for a while. Oh well Im ready for the challange. Im also ready to have my body back and to be able to enjoy the rest of the summer. I hate haveing to stay close just in case. I would love to be on the lake right now Skiing and playing on the jet skiis but I dont think that would be such a good idea. Maybe here in a few weeks. It doesnt help either that the family is all in Michigan on Vacation while Im sitting here waiting. poor planning on my part.

Happy 4th
Adam was able to get off early on Thursday and then had the 4th off so we headed up to the lake for a few days. It was so nice to get away, Im sure that it will probably be the last time with just the 3 of us. Addison was able to go for a boat ride and did lots of swimming. We took all of the sand castle stuff down to the beach, but Adam and I had more fun building then she did.
Around 12:30 on the 4th we took off and headed to my parents house for the annual Walton 4th parade. We got there with about 10 minutes left in the parade so in our eyes it was perfect timing. Then it was off to grandmas house where Addison was able to play with ALL of the cousins. Thats right all 8 of them were there with all 6 dogs. It was a mad house but everyone had fun. Addy and the big cousins played on the driveway and in the woods all afternoon. Addison only had one tiny Motorcycle wreck which she recovered quickly from. After 2 tractor rides Sandma took them all over to the kindergarten playground to play for a bit while wasteing time before the fireworks. All in all it was a great day. Addison has the bruises to prove it.

What a weekend...
On Saturday we took 23 of the kids from Adams youth group to my parents cottage on the lake. They had a great time even though it started raining at about 1:30. At that point they all headed up to the cottage to play card games and to see if the storm would pass by. It didnt so we loaded them up into the 3 vans to head home about 3 an hour earlier then we were planning. I was leading the caravan home, About a half hour into the trip home, I was stoped at a stop light, the second guy in the caravan came up behind me and couldnt stop so he swerved to the right and missed me. Then Adam was the third guy in the caravan he was driving some Ghetto Cruiser van with no power steering he came up saw that the 2nd guy wasnt stoping and had swerved to the right so he started to swerve to the left. Got about half way over and the the van straitend back out, he ended up clipping the back left corner of my van. So I make sure that the 8 kids I was hauling were ok and pulled into a parking lot where the other two vans followed... not too big of a deal except being 8 months pregnant kind of shook me up a bit. The van I was driving the back door was pretty banged up and the bumper was pushed up so the door couldnt open. Adams "ghetto Cruiser" you couldnt even tell it had been in an accident. We get back in the vans to head home after the police report was filled, which no one called the cops for..... we headed home. On the way home I started having some pretty intense contractions but nothing regular just bite my lip though them. I didnt really say anything to Adam when we got home because I knew he allready felt terrible about the accident and all that could have happened to the 19 kids between our two vans so I didnt want to make him feel any worse, He could tell something was going on though. I decided to just sleep on it that night or at least see if I coul sleep though the pains and avoid a trip to the ER. I slept fine. I woke up SOOO Crampy but thought I would just try to rest yesterday again to avoid a trip to L&D and wait until today to get checked at the DR. So first thing this morning I called the DR. as soon as she opened only to have her tell me to go to L&D to get monitored.
So today I spent 4.5 hours hooked up to the monitor in L&D. Everything was fine. Little mans heart rate stayed between 115-145 mostly around 120 which to me seems very low but the nurses assured me it was fine. I was having pretty regular contractions but nothing intense and they ended up not doing anything. I was dialated 1 when they checked me when I got there and 4 hours later I was dialated a good 1 whatever that means.. They did say that If labor started that they wouldnt do anything at this point to stop it. So I guess little Z can come anytime between Now and 8 weeks from now. God I hope I dont have to go the next 8 weeks feeling as crapy as I do now....

One more day to go...
Only one more Day of VBS Im so happy! Im not one of those really religious people at all. Actually if it wasnt for DH I probably wouldnt go to church but I know how important it is to him so I try my best. And then I get suckered into leading VBS, The things you do when you love your spouse. Oh well only one more day and we are done, too bad Im Pregnant because tomorrow would definatly be a day for drinks afterwords. I guess those will have to wait until August. On the other hand Addison is LOVEING VBS. She is in the nursery with 5 other little ones all under 3 she calls it her class and they seem to have a lot of fun. Her teacher said she had never met a little girl so smart, that always makes mama feel good.
I had a Doctors apt today. All is well, Blood Pressure was 90/62 Weight 145 and little mans heart rate was 130 . Hes all ready head down with his back on the right side and his legs are curled around on the left his bunz of steal are right in the middle.. This heat is starting to get to me. Today its 95 out so Im trying to stay as cool as possible but it is almost impossible when all Addison wants to do is play outside. Atleast she likes to play in her pool so I can put my feet in it and she pours water all over me that helps quite a bit...
A few weeks ago I posed for some maternity pictures for one my my SILs friends If I can figure out how to post them I will...

Monday Monday
Today was the first day of Vacation Bible School, one down four to go. Honestly it didn't go as bad as I thought it would but there is still quite a bit of fine tuneing that I would like to do to it. I have everything set up in my head and its hard to explain it to all of the my helpers. Being almost 8 months pregnant doesnt help either. I might have over done it today leading all of the songs and trying to be energetic for all the kids because tonight at dinner I was having contractions all over the place.
I was also able to go on a tour of the hospital that I will deliver this little man at. It went really well now Im just getting anxious to actually have him. I have an apt on Thursday so hopefully everything is still going well.
Cant wait for the week to be over.
