I was talking with some friends about Pinterest and how much I love it. They have talked me into doing one thing from Pinterest a day and blog about it. SO here we go.......

Last night Adam was gone so the kids and I made Mini Caramel apples. They were quite easy to make and made much less of a mess then full size caramel apples. My one complaint about them is that the Caramel didnt harden up so they are still kind of gooey, even after sitting in the fridge over night.

I used about half a bag of mini caramels

a splash of water

1 big honey crisp apple

1 mellon baller

tooth picks

Use the mellon baller to make little apples out of the big apple. Stick each one with a tooth pick and put on a sprayed piece of wax paper. Melt the caramels with a little bit of water in a sauce pan. Dip the apples in the caramel and back to the wax paper. E Z

Sorry for the lack of posting. As I had mentioned in an earlier post we were going to be at mom and dads for the weekend. Lets just say it was a little caotic and I didnt have time to come up with a december post.

The only thing that my mom asked for, for Christmas was a picture of her 12 Grandkids all together wearing their cute Elf jammies. That was much easier said then done. We got them all in their cute Jams and asked them to sit on the couch. Zion who usually loves getting his picture is screaming and running into the other room hiding in the corner saying "No pictures no pictures" So this is the best we came up with Grandma.

I cant wait to go "home" tomorrow. I like it here in Robinson, but walton will always be home. Tomorrow night Kerry and her family will be at mom and dads too. Addison cant wait to see girl cousins. Friday morning, im taking the three kids and we are going to Flora for Buble study. I doubt there will be much studing going on. I miss those ladies sooo much. Friday afternoon we are going to my nephew Joes birthday party. Then we are going to finish off the evening with a Carroll Cougars Basketball game. I cant wait to see everyone and a good ball game. Saturday we are having Christmas at mom and dads family galore. 12 kids rnging in age from 7 to 4 weeks! So i will probably miss a day or two of posts but will have plenty to catch up with! have a good weekend.

Adam thought it would be a good idea to do a puzzle with Addison. Why he chose a 1000 peice puzzle I dont know. They got it out on Saturday and Addison helped by turning over about 8 peices and then was done. Adam and I on the other hand could not stop worring about the puzzle. We worked on it all the time, often times neglecting our older kids wants. We finally finished it last night.

Today Bennett is 2 weeks old. He went to the Dr and everything is great!
He is up to 6lbs 10oz, that is what Addison was when she was born. He has the sweetest little birth mark on his eyelid, that the doctor said might fade away as he gets older. We scheduled his ultrasound for his kidney for the first week of January to see what if anything is going on there. other then that he is a happy healthy TINY guy.

update from todays apt.

We had a great trip to the Maternal Fetal specialist today. After about at 40 minute ultrasound and over 100 pictures/ measurements later. We met with the doc. She said that the baby was looking really good. My fluid levels are in normal range. Baby is measuring a little big but nothing to worry about. Im worried that his head is measuing at 38 weeks and the rest of him is at 34 weeks but oh well. He is weighing in at about 5 lbs 12 oz and is practicing his breathing. His head is down, his stomach is all the way on my hip and his butt is under my ribs. They did find out that his kidneys are enlarged. They are measuring an inch bigger then what they should be. Most kidneys have one exit into the bladder and his have two. Which means that his bladder fills up twice as fast. There is nothing that they do about this. She just reccomended getting an ultra sound done on him 1 or 2 months after he is born to check them out. So now we can relax and not have to worry about every movement. They said that the fundal height measurement that they do in the Dr. Office is only correct about 30% of the time, it just depends on how the baby is being carried and its position. So hopefully my 47 week measurement does not keep increasing.

Hurry up and wait. Im sitting here waiting on the phone to ring, with my apt for the maternal fetal specialist. It will either be today or tomorrow. Hopefully tomorrow so there will be time for the in-laws to get here.
So here is the update as of Friday:
On Friday the 15th I was measuring 36 weeks pregnant, at the time I should be measuring 32 weeks. Fast forward to Friday the 22nd. At 33 weeks I was measuring 47 weeks pregnant. For those that dont know a human gestetion is between 37-40 weeks. Therefor I am currently the Gestation of a Donkey, but still have 7 more weeks to go, at this rate I will be 117 weeks pregnant by the time of delivery. That is a longer gestation then an elephant.
Anyway, We are hopefull for some answers from the specialist. They are thinking that I have quite a bit of Extra fluid. After the specialist apt. We will have a plan of attack.

I keep trying to keep this verse in my head, but it sure is heard.

Through out this pregnancy I have always felt BIG, much bigger then my last two pregnancies, I have kept saying to myself it is just because it is my third baby. Each time at the Dr. I have been measuring a little bit bigger but only by one or two weeks nothing to really worry about. On Monday I had an Ultrasound to see how big the baby was due to measuring a little big each time. Baby looked great he was measuring about 34 weeks 3 days, I was technically 32 weeks 2 days so a little big but nothing to be concerned about. The ultra sound tech kept saying how wonderful everything looked.

Move ahead to Friday at my Dr. apt. I get there about 1:15 for my 1:30 apt. thinking maybe if I get here a little early I can be seen a little early and we can get on the road to head to mom and dads. Not the case, they pass by me. After a girl checks in saying that her apt is at 2:15 and she gets called back before me I go ask the desk, they then get me right in.

Normal procedure pee in a cup, get weighed check babys heart rate and my Blood pressure, everything looks great! Then she goes to measure my fundal height, she measures it once, measures it twice, and then measures it for a third time... Then she asks you are 32 weeks right. I say yes. I say why, she says well I have you measuring at 40 weeks. WOW 40 weeks... That means between Monday and Friday the little man grew 7 weeks worth. The Dr. then comes in and double checks the measurement and he says its measuring 40 weeks but he can push it back to 37 whatever that means. He then begins to go over the Ultra sound and discovers that my amniotic fluid is elevated. Not too much but still enough to be concerned about. One cause of this could be gestestational Diabetes, I passed my one hour Glucose test with Flying colors, I'm not exactly sure what the numbers were but they were great. So to help rule that out I go Tuesday to take the 3 hour test, just to make sure that isn't it. They will also run some extra tests on the blood to check things out. I then will go back to the Dr. Every Friday for a Non Stress test and more measurements to see whats going on and for another ultra sound on the 1st of November.

I have found Google to be my enemy. So now I am just trying to worry about nothing and pray about everything. But man it sure is hard.

Door View. Im contemplating painting a mural of a VW Bus on that wall but havent decided yet. Hopefully my Sister in Law Kari will make us another door sign too.

Rocking Chair side. We are looking for a lamp or small light to put by the chair so I can see at night but not bright enoug to wake Zion up.

Babys Bed I made all of the crib stuff when it was Zions bed, however Zion did a number on it so I had to take it all apart and remake it. I still have to dye a sheet to match. The empty spot above his bed is for his name.

Zion is Stressed!

So Zion has been the best sleeper any mom could ever ask for. He would go to bed at 7 and not wake up until 8 the next day. Up until about about a month ago he was still taking a morning and an afternoon nap. I started weeding out the morning nap so he would just take an afternoon nap. He was doing great with it until the end of last week, and then all hell has broken loose. He is refuseing to take any nap at all, just wants to cuddel with me, if he happens to fall asleep while on my chest, he wakes up as soon as I get up to lay him down. At night he will not lay down at all. Screams, kicks, climbs out of bed. Blah blah blah. He yells No Night night mama no night night please no night night. I will finally get him up after the 134352 time of laying him back down bring him out and rock him to sleep, he will fall asleep on my chest but again as soon as I get up to put him in bed, hes up. So today I finally broke down and took him to the Dr. to make sure he didn't have something medically wrong with him. Ears, Teeth, throat... etc. Nope everything is GREAT. She said that he is just super stressed? Oh the stresses of being 2? Having mom wait on you hand and foot, having mom all to yourself everyday from 8-11, going to the park and story time with just mom. Its such a rough life. So we are trying to ease his stress, Im not really sure how. She suggested we try benadryl and warm milk before we try to lay him down at night. So we are trying it. Hopefully it works. This is one tired mama, After being use to him sleeping 12-14 hours a night down to 5 really wears down this prego lady

We went for our Ultra sound on Friday. I didnt want to find out what we were having but Adam and Addison did, so we agreed that we would let the tech show us and then decide for our self what we were having. The baby looks Great! It weighs about 11 oz right now and looks just like its big brother. During the ultra sound the baby would not stop moving you would think that it was running a marathon. It is measuring bigger then my dates so they have moved my Due date into Nov. Just what we need another november baby. Right now we have Grandma Bennetts on the 24th Cales the 25th Aunt Kerrys the 25th and Pixies the 26th and now this one is due on the 30th but can go anytime in there. Now for the Pictures!!!

News from the Conder house. For those of you who havent heard, we are going to be moving at the end of June. Adam has taken a senior pastor positon at the Robinson IL Free Methodist church. It is kind of a Bitter Sweet Move, We love the town and the people here but are ready for to follow Gods Calling.
Our next news is that Addison and Zion are going to be a big sister and brother again. We are expecting another little Conder the first week of December. At least I hope it is just one, but by the looks of this tummy it could be 8. Hopefully we will find out soon.

Easy Breezy Pants

Since we are snowed in today I decided to do some sewing. Ive had this pattern for a while and just have never gotten around to trying it out.. So today was the day, I made Addison a pair of Breezy pants and myself a pair of capris.. These have to be the most comfortable things I have ever put on my body! Oh my Good Lord there is Milk in EVERYTHING!

Zion has had a poop issue since he turned one and we have been trying to figure out how to stop his dirrhea. So the Pedi has suggested that we take all dairy out of his diet for 2-3 weeks and see how things go and then add it all back in over 2-3 days and see what happens. Heres my question what do you feed a toddler when they cant have: Milk, cheese, Yogert? Even McDonalds Chicken nuggets and Fries have milk in them. Spagetti sauce, yep theres milk in that. pretzels, goldfish crackers, cereal, Bread, deli meat, Coke, Cookies, Cake. I sure hope he isnt allergic to milk and that we can add real food back to our diets soon. So Please drink and extra glass of ICE COLD MILK with Oreo's for Zion!

We took Zion and Addison to visit Santa today! Zion was SCARED to DEATH. Addison sat on the very edge of the armrest and wouldnt talk to him. Needless to say we didnt get any pictures because well they werent happy to see him.

#1 Matilda: My daughter named this dress and I have no Idea why she named it Matilda. Any way it is a Brown long sleeve patchwork dress with elastic at the bodice. The patches are done in browns greens and aquas. It measures 24 inches from top to bottom, 20 inches under arms and has 14 inch sleeves. $20

#2 Addison: Named after my daughter because she picked all the fabric for this dress. It has brown with pink dot short sleeves and is patchworked in browns and blues and pink dots there is elastic at the bodice. It measures 25.5 inches from top to bottom and 19 inches around under the arms. It is aprox. a 3T $20

#3 Little hippie Mama. I LOVE this I wish I would have made it bigger. The top is an apron style top with button straps and elastic back. I will get measurements soon.

#4 Hanging of the Greens Shirt dress: This dress measures 26 inches from top to bottom and 18.5 inches under the arms. $15

#5 Rainy Days Shirt Dress: This dress is made from a Ralph Lauren Chaps Shirt, in different colors of Blue. It measures 29 inches from top to bottom and 23 inches under the arms. $15

Two loving children that never coperate to get their pictures taken when you want them too. I should have known that it wasnt going to work as we took this picture before we left. Addisons expression shows how the entire shoot was going to go.
Zion could not keep his arms down at all! Every picture he was pointing or reaching for the camera.
We finally got them to both sit, too bad they look like they are SCARED to death. Thats what happens when you are bad and have to sit in the church by yourself. I think we might end up using either this one. or

Easter Weekend

We had a Great BUSY Easter Weekend.

Saturday we went to Walton for the Walton egg hunt, Addison is getting the hang of these things.

Sunday, we were able to get out of bed and to the Sunrise service followed by Breakfast at church and then the Sunday service. So we were at church from 6:15-10:30 and the kids were WONDERFUL.

After church we all loaded up and went to my Grandmas house in Merrilville to have lunch and spend time with the family. My brothers Brad and Wally hid eggs so the kids could have yet another easter egg hunt. Addison LOVED it.

After leaving Grandmas we went to the Star Plaza Inn for the evening where we swam and then went to dinner, Addison and Zion loved hanging out at the hotel. Zion ended up falling asleep while we were in dangling our legs into the Hot tub, too much easter fun.

Monday we tried to take a dip in the pool in the morning but the big pool was too cold and they had just drained, cleaned and refilled the hot tubs soooo they were a whopping 45 degrees, so off we went back up to the room and filled the bath tub for the kids, I think they had just as much fun there. We then packed up and headed to Fair Oaks Farm. It was quite interesting I think Addison was still a little bit too young to really enjoy it, she just wanted to touch the cows. We then went to the Birthing barn where we saw a cow that was about a half hour old and another one in labor. After a billion questions, Addison asked" Mom why does that cow keep blowing bubbles out of her butt?" We decided she had had enough and went to get DELISIOUS ice cream.

Tuesday we went to Indy for our friend Ella's 3rd Birthday party. We had tons of fun but now we are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Tired.

I am sick and tired of everyone here being sick and tired! Adam is on day 14 of this terrible cold. I think he is worse then any baby when he is sick. He also has pink hiar now! Nothing to do with being sick, he made a bet with his youth group that if they raised over $3000 for the 30 hour famine that he would die his hair "hot pink" They raised $3240, and he kept his promise.

Last Thursday after going to a Cloth Diaper playdate Addison and Zion started coughing and having snot everywhere, we decided that if they felt half as bad as Adam had then they needed to go to the Dr. So we took them Addison ended up being fine just having a cough. Zion on the other hand was Weezing and I guess it was quite badly, he was diagonosed with Ashtma at 6 months old. He was put on an Albuteral Syrup which made him CRAZY! He would just Scream non stop and not sleep, when he was half awake it was as though he was hullicinating, not a good feeling. So, we decided to stop giving it to him on Sunday morning and call the Dr. Monday morning. They finally got us in at 3:00 on Monday and the Dr. Yelled at us, I felt like a school girl. The dr said. " You need air to breath, when you stop giving him his medicine that helps him breath he will die, do you want him to die?" So Adam and I felt like the scum of the earth because we didnt know his condition was as bad as it is. Anyway he is now on an inhaler every 6 hours, he is the youngest person int he Howard County area with an inhaler.. Poor little man.

1. I spend way to much time on the Internet. I have so much other stuff I should be doing.
2.I would love to learn how to play the guitar. I have had one for years but it just hangs on the wall.
3. I am a VERY shy person. I hate meeting new people because I always feel like I'm being judged.
4. I have lots of good ideas but have no follow through.
5. I HATE talking on the phone, except to my mom and sister.
6. I use cloth diapers on my babies and spend far too much time looking and making new ones.
7. I Love Tom Petty and have seen him in concert 8 times.
8.Most days I don't get dressed until about 4:00
9. I feel really guilty whenever I leave my kids with someone.
10. I know I need to get over it.
11. I drink far too much Caffeine.
12. I buy almost everything off the sale rack. and most of my kids cloths second hand.
13. There are days that I cant wait to go back to teaching, and then other days that I want a completely different career.
14. I try to be crafty but it doesn't always work.
15. I am way to hard on myself.
16. I really need to start working out more and eating healthier.
17. I cant wait to go on a really nice Vacation.
18. I like to think I'm a good dancer, yet I am the most uncoordinated person in the world.
19. In my first five years of Marriage Adam and I lived in . Washington DC, Terre Haute, Chicago, South side of Indy, Northeast side of Indy, Walton and Now Flora.

Today we had the oppertunity to help my friend Mary at her pre-school. She does a one day a week pre-school from 9-3 her assistant had her baby on Friday so for the next few weeks I will be filling in for her. The best part is that I am able to take the kids with me. Which is Great because we are considering sending Addison here next year. Anyway we told Addison that she was going to get to go to school today a few days ago and she was SO excited. She went to bed last night without any trouble, then she woke fully up at 3:45 this morning Yelling " Mom Dad is it time for school yet?" No go back to bed. Only to repeat this again at 5:30 and then up for the day at 7. Needless to say she was very tired today at school but she managed to make it the entire day. Came home ate supper and was sound asleep at 6:30. Zion was also tired from him busy day since he thought that 20 minutes was a long enough afternoon nap, hopefully he will sleep well tonight.

This week I decided it was time to sort out all of the baby clothes since for a while now they have just been going into whatever crate was open when they got to small so I had quite a bit of sorting to do. When I was finally finished I came up with a box of NB/ Boys 0-3 boys 3-6 boys 6-9 boys 2 totes of 12 month girls 2 totes of 18 month girls one of 24/2T and half of a tote of 3T. It looked like I was ready to open my own store. Now as far as shoes go.... OMG this girl has had her fair share of shoes these are just size 4-6. Their have been more......

A new year, new couch, new carpet, and a new computer what a way to start the year. Things are going great at the Conder house! We have been enjoying having Adam home for the past two weeks, Im not looking forward to him going back to work but it will be nice to get back on our schedule. For the new year Im going to try to post a little bit more since when was my last post.... before Christmas?

Zions 4 months

My big boy went for his 4 month apt. yesterday, He weighed in at 18.5 pounds, which is the 99%. He is one tall boy at 27.5 inches which puts him over the 100% mark. Everything else is great, we are sopposed to start feeding him real food now 2 times a day, sopposdly it will have less calories then my gravy boob.
